in light of the whole VMA incident involving kanye west and taylor swift...

this short film was produced by director spike jonez. it really moved me. it depicts kanye as the public see's him. but really, he is just trying to have a good time. all people can be a**holes when they are drunk. the symbolism and imagery in this video are jaw-dropping. you feel for Ye in this one..

race rolls in police actions

my research question is "how do race roles impact a police officers decision to use force in a certain situation." my controlling purpose involve several certain instances in which a police officer acts either prematurely or completely wrong. also, i will look at race roles as well as new training regimines in which officers are simulated into situations involving split second decision making in regards to a sketchy situation. they are then scored based on their performance.

i feel that by not JUST looking at incidents of police brutality, but rather what is involved in it (physcologically, police training), i am able to answer the big question in the end and submit a qualilty paper.

i was murked in my interview because i only had sources aimed at instances of brutality (LOL) but i think i have a better feel talking to andrews face to face.

the paper (police brutality)

i'm doing my research paper on police brutality (mainly in the USA however it being a global problem)...it was really hard for me to come up with a topic that i felt i had enuf interest in to
do a quality paper on...

i landed on this one: i'm not really a fan of police, as i'm sure alot of you out there aren't as well..i like the idea of order but most just abuse it..the fact that we live in fear of the police, rather then them being a friend is what's wrong.
